Watch: This female driver took SEVEN minutes to complete a disastrous parking manoeuvre

This is the bumbling moment a woman was filmed turning her car 18 times in seven minutes while trying to park her car.

The unidentified driver was attempting to fit her small car into a huge space on Guildford High Street just before Christmas.

However, despite the space on offer making the manoeuvre appear simple, the woman seems unable to get into it.

Lee Smith filmed the hapless driver while eating his KFC lunch, giving a running commentary as he watched.

He said: “I’ve never seen anything like it. She doesn’t do women drivers any favours by trying to park like that.

“It’s some of the funniest stuff I’ve seen on the road. If she’d done the manoeuvre once or twice that would be fine but this was for seven minutes.”

He added: “It was five minutes on the nose from me starting filming to when the lady, who I’m assuming is her mum, gets out of the car.

“This had been going on for two or three minutes before I started filming – she was just doing the exact same manoeuvre over and over and over again.

‘“t the beginning of the video you can hear us laughing quite loudly as we were already warmed up from watching this unfold.

“She keeps opening her door and looking out to see how far she is instead of using her mirrors and windows which is what normal drivers seem to think they are for.”

The woman eventually gets out of the car to help an elderly woman out of the car and onto the pavement.

Lee said: “Her passenger seemed really embarrassed as if she was saying ‘get me the hell out of this car’.

“The driver was obviously trying to make it easier for the lady to get out of the car but because her back end is sticking out so much she had to get out in the road and could have got knocked over.”

Lee and his passenger can be heard cheering and clapping as the woman gets back into her car before finally parking it successfully.

He added: “My advice to her would be to get someone else to park it.”
