'That Water Gotta Go Somewhere, Baby': Alabama Creek Floods Cow Pasture

Heavy rain pummeled northeast and central Alabama on February 10, leading to flash flooding that left portions of the state swamped one day later, as seen in this footage showing floodwater in Oxford.

According to The Anniston Star, three major roads in Oxford were flooded by the deluge and the start of school on February 11 was delayed by two hours.

“That water gotta go somewhere, baby… The creek flooded and everything, y’all. This is what we go through in Oxford, Alabama,” the woman filming this footage says as she points out multiple fields alongside the road that have been inundated by the rain, including “a property that has cows on it.” Credit: S&B Cleaning Service in Oxford Alabama via Storyful
