Water Gushes Through Montecito as 'Major Storm' Prompts Evacuations
Authorities issued immediate evacuations in Montecito, California, on Monday, January 9, the five-year anniversary of a deadly mudslide in the region that claimed 23 lives, after heavy floods hit the area.
The National Weather Service said a “major storm” would impact southwest California through Tuesday, January 10, and bring widespread flooding to the region.
