Waterbombers Dump Retardant Near Homes Threatened by Wildfire in Washington, Utah

Waterbombing aircraft dumped fire retardant near homes in Washington, Utah, on July 14 as crews battled an uncontained blaze that authorities believed was started by teenagers using fireworks.

By the Tuesday evening, the so-called Turkey Farm Road Fire had spread to nearly 12,000 acres after making “significant runs throughout the day driven by wind and terrain”, Utah fire officials said. Some homes in Green Springs were earlier evacuated due to the fire. Credit: @SpencerReam via Storyful
