Waterloo Road reportedly signs up Coronation Street star's daughter

It looks like Hattie Dynevor may following in the footsteps of her famous family members, having reportedly signed up for her first acting role on Waterloo Road.

The name Dynevor is likely a familiar one for many, given that Hattie's mum is longtime Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor and her sister is Bridgerton's Phoebe Dynevor.

It's not been confirmed who Hattie will be playing yet, but an insider told The Sun that she could be joining the BBC One show soon. Though Hattie may only just be dipping her toe in the TV world, she's already a seasoned model, revealing on Instagram last September that she'd signed with a modeling agency.

Interestingly, Phoebe actually also got her acting start on Waterloo Road 14 years ago, playing school student Siobhan Mailey.

The series has also helped to kick-start the careers of several other big name British actors, including Phoebe's Bridgerton co-star Regé-Jean Page, Young Victoria's Jenna Coleman and Emily in Paris' Lucien Laviscount.

Waterloo Road returned to our screens earlier this year after nearly a decade away, bringing back a handful of original stars with it.

Adam Thomas and Katie Griffiths reprised their roles as high school sweethearts Donte and Chlo Charles, while Angela Griffin returned as Kim Campbell.

Sadly, though, Chlo's return short-lived. The premiere episode took a shocking turn when she was rushed to hospital and Donte was given the tragic news that his wife had died.

Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
