Waterloo Road aired shocking scenes tonight (Tuesday, September 17) as Schuey lashed out against new head Steve Savage and his son Billy.

In the previous episode, Schuey had wanted his sister Portia to run away with him, but Tonya convinced her not to.

Tonight, Schuey started his school day by being handed a load of vapes by an older girl outside the school to sell to pupils.

Before school started, Steve (Jason Manford) saw Schuey vaping in the playground and then called on all the pupils to hand over their vapes.

But after the pupils headed inside, Steve noticed the girl who had given the vapes to Schuey. "Carla Duggan," Steve said. "What are you doing in my school?"

"You're not my head teacher now," she replied.

Steve then told Joe that he wanted to do a bag search to see if any more pupils were carrying vapes, adding that it may seem heavy-handed but he had his reasons.

Meanwhile, Schuey had gotten started on selling his vapes but was interrupted by Portia. She told him it was a stupid idea to sell vapes in school and that she was glad she listened to Tonya and didn't run away with him.

Later, Schuey confronted Tonya about what she said to Portia to make her change her mind about running away.

When Schuey got in Tonya's face, Billy came between them before Schuey pushed him back, leading to them both being sent to Joe's office.

Instead of going to Joe's office, Schuey ran away and locked himself in a bathroom to avoid having his bag searched for vapes.

After Steve and Joe caught him hiding, Schuey was forced to hand over all his vapes and sit down with both of them,

But before their meeting, Steve and Joe found drugs hidden in the ceiling of the toilet where Schuey had been hiding. After being confronted with the drugs, Schuey was adamant they weren't his.

Steve asked Schuey if the drugs had been given to him by Carla, a former pupil of his who started by selling vapes at school before moving on to drugs. Schuey denied having anything to do with the drugs and was sent to isolation while Steve and Joe figured things out.

Later, Steve discovered that Carla had given the drugs to Mollie to sell after grooming her online.

But being exonerated over the drugs wasn't enough for Schuey, and when he finally got out of isolation he made Billy his target after finding out he was Steve's son.

The episode ended with Schuey attacking Billy in an alley, warning him: "Every time you see me coming you'll wish you were dead."

Waterloo Road series 13 is currently airing on BBC One, while every episode can be watched now on iPlayer.
