Waterspouts Seen Near Ohio's Lake Erie Coast

Skywatchers in Ohio reported several waterspouts on Lake Erie on Sunday morning, August 11.

Footage taken by Jeff Barnes shows his view of two waterspouts in Mentor on Sunday morning. He said he spotted dozens of funnels and waterspouts throughout the morning in the Lake Erie area.

The National Weather Service (NWS) in Cleveland shared surveillance footage from nearby Mentor Yacht Club showing the waterspout.
