Waukesha parade crash: Darrell Brooks in court charged with five counts of intentional homicide

A man accused of ploughing his car through a Christmas parade in the US, killing five people, has been charged with homicide.

Darrell Brooks, 39, appeared in court over Sunday's incident in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and faces five counts of first-degree intentional homicide.

Four women and one man died when the SUV sped down the parade route.

More than 40 people were also injured, including children.
