Yahoo News Wayne Bridge reacts to wife Frankie's sex confession
Frankie Bridge made headlines when she opened up about her sex life with husband Wayne on Loose Women last week.
She said: "Nine times out of ten, I will try and I can be persuaded, most of the time. But my point was, if I've sat there and made it really obvious that that is not what I want, y'know, you're in your pyjamas...
"You know, we go to sleep really late... and I think, 'We got into bed at, like 10, if you wanted it then, maybe that's when you should have gone in for the kill. It's now gone past midnight, I'm now ready to go to sleep, and you think this is the right time to give it a go!'"
Well, today (September 22), Wayne joined Frankie for an appearance on ITV's Lorraine to talk about her comments.
"You did say nine times out of 10 though," he said to his wife, before turning to Lorraine Kelly, explaining, "As parents of two toddlers, we don't sleep too well and that's why you've got to get it when you can really."
Of course, Frankie isn't the only one in the relationship to discuss their sex life publicly.
When Wayne appeared on I'm a Celebrity last year, he complained on national TV about not getting enough action in the bedroom.
Commenting on her husband's confession, Frankie said: "I think he must have forgotten about the cameras and it turned into this big thing.
"For us, it was a little bit embarrassing but I guess it shows just how much of a topic this is and that everyone relates to it."
Explaining why he shared such personal information on TV, Wayne said: "I struggled with the cameras at the beginning of the show but then I got used to them and just switched off.
"In the back of your mind, you know that just a few minutes will be shown on TV from a 24-hour day, and I think what I said wouldn't be shown. But they did show those few minutes!"
Wayne and Frankie celebrated their third wedding anniversary this year and have two sons together, Parker and Carter.
