Wayne Rooney has shared the first adorable photo of newborn son Kit Joseph Rooney on Twitter.

Posting this photo, the proud dad wrote: “Meeting Kit for the first time. Home time now”.

The couple announced their third son’s birth on Sunday, with Coleen tweeting: “Our gorgeous little Boy arrived today!! Kit Joseph Rooney …. 8Ib 1oz. We are all over the moon!!”

Wayne shared (almost) the same message on his Twitter.

The pair, who married in 2008, reportedly decided not to find out whether they were having a son or daughter before their newborn arrived.

They are also parents to sons Kai, six, and Klay, two.
