Star Wars is back... well it's not really, but The Weeknd and Daft Punk have paid homage to the franchise in their music video for 'I Feel It Coming'.

The video has the blurry picture quality of a VHS tape, which is totally making us thankful for HD – how did we cope back in the dark ages of the Nineties?

Anyway, The Weekend sings away on a desolate planet, when a beautiful girl arrives – but before they can run away to a more inhabited planet, the poor girl turns to stone before crumbling away into dust.

Still, the singer isn't on his own for very long until he too turns to stone and crumbles away.

The end of the video sees the Daft Punk duo turn up in Darth Vader-style outfits – they even match their usual helmets to the dark theme.

The new single is the second to be taken from The Weeknd's 2016 album Starboy, following the late-2016 release of the title track, which also featured Daft Punk.

Is the new release making you eager for more? Well, The Weeknd will be appearing at Wireless Festival this summer, alongside the likes of Chance The Rapper and Skepta.

Nas, Zara Larsson, Rae Sremmurd, Big Narstie, Wiley, Ty Dolla $ign and Section Boyz will also be performing.

Wireless Festival kicks off on July 8.
