Weight loss coach's two simple steps help you lose 10kg between now and Christmas

Making two simple lifestyle changes could help you shed the pounds

Christmas is often seen as a time of enjoyment and indulgence, but nobody wants to pile on the pounds.

Though we all eat and drink a little more over the festive season, it doesn't mean people want to expand their wasitlines just because there's a lot of food lying around. If it's something that's already playing on your mind, don't panic, as you could shed over a stone before Christmas by making two simple changes.

Tyson Aaron, known as tyson_aaronpt on TikTok, said you can lose between 5kg (7lbs) and 10kg (1st 5lbs) before the big day by making two simple changes to how you live. All you need is a step target and to dedicate yourself to a high protein meal structure.

According to the fitness guru, you only need to do these two simple things to aid weight loss. Sometimes the simplest changes can be the most effective.

In a candid video, he explained: "If you want to lose 5kg to 10kg between now and Christmas, this is everything you are going to do and follow. At a minimum, you are going to get 8,000 steps every single day, but ideally you are going to be getting over 10,000.

"So on days that you have time, and on days you are available to do so, get more than 10. On days that are busy, and on days that are stressful, aim for eight at least.

"You're also going to eat three meals every single day. Your first meal is either going to be a protein shake with two scoops of protein, or you're going to create a smoothie with two scoops of protein, and your choice of fruit blended in."

As for the other meals, Tyson said you need to focus on eating two meals you actually enjoy, but there is one snag. You need to ensure each meal is packed with at least 35g of protein, but ideally aim for above 50g.

He said if you can master these two simple things every single day to the best of your ability then the weight should fly off with ease. Between now and Christmas you'll look a lot leaner and feel a lot fitter, and you don't need to take anything to the extreme to get there.

Since the video was shared, it's been viewed hundreds of times, and people were quick to comment too. Many seem keen to try out the simple advice to see if it works for them.

One person said: "Ok, done. I'm doing Pilate too though, and I'm coming back on December 20 to let you know how I did." Another wrote: "What's a decent brand of protein? There's so many."

Meanwhile, a third asked: "What about carbs and fats?" Tyson cleared this up by explaining you don't really need to worry about this if you follow his advice. This is because, if you prioritise your protein, then the other things can't really get out of hand.
