Weight of Snow on Truckee Home Causes Ceiling to Crack

The ceiling of a house in Truckee, California, cracked from the weight of heavy snowfall brought about by a winter storm, on March 12.

Video captured by Adrienne Husted Campbell shows a long ceiling crack running from wall to wall of her home.

“So much snow our house is cracking down the middle! Should be ok but stressful!” Campbell said.
