Well-known Scartho building to be transformed into nine luxury homes
A former hotel and restaurant in Scartho will soon be transformed into a collection of nine luxury homes.
Work is underway to turn the Waltham Road building in Grimsby which was once home to The Beeches Hotel - and subsequently The Manor House - into a new development named Copper Beech Court.
The development will be made up of houses, apartments and a penthouse, each with its own bespoke finish and modern and contemporary fixtures and fittings. The properties will also be set within landscaped grounds, the majority with their own private gardens and patios.

The venue had sat empty since The Manor House closed its doors in 2022, with the owners citing rising costs and the building's sale behind their decision to no longer operate.
But local property entrepreneur, Helen Warman, who lives nearby, wanted to restore the well-known building in a way that "reflects the spirit of Scartho". North East Lincolnshire Council's Planning Committee approved the plans in February this year.
Helen said: “Scartho is a charming village with a strong sense of identity. Living here and being part of the community, with its independent shops, bars, and restaurants, made me even more passionate about revitalising this site. I’m excited to restore this landmark in a way that enhances the area and reflects the spirit of Scartho."
Alongside her architect, Helen has collaborated closely with North East Lincolnshire Council's Heritage Officer to meet the standards that come with working in a protected conservation area.
“This project has presented its challenges, particularly given the site's significant heritage,” Helen said. “However, as we near the completion and prepare to welcome new owners, I can confidently say it has been an absolute privilege to oversee this project.”
Copper Beech Court is being marketed by Martin Maslin Estate Agents, with prices starting from £195,000.
