Wells Carnival 2024 results announced

Provisional winners from the 2024 Wells Carnival have been announced.

Huckyduck Carnival Club remain on course to win the County Cup after their Brunel tableau secured a sixth successive win.

And it was Gremlins CC's Beatlemania, which dropped down to second at Shepton Mallet Carnival on Wednesday, who once again was victorious in the Open Feature class, winning by just three points.

Masqueraders CC with Step Right Up were in second place,place, while Ramblers CC and Pinball, winners at Shepton Mallet, were placed third, ahead of The Manor by Renegades CC in fourth.

Newmarket CC with Tour de Somerset won best comic feature, and Rubalo JCC with Birds of Paradise won best juvenile feature.. The final procession of the circuit is at Glastonbury tonight.
