From Bestseller To Bust: Tell Me Which Books You Couldn't Put Down And Those You Could Barely Pick Up

What’s the best and worst book that you read this year? Did it have amazing character development or did the storyline move at a snail’s pace? I want to know all about what made it so amazing or why you didn't read it past chapter two.

My personal favorite reads this year were Project Hail Mary, Remarkably Bright Creatures, and Switchboard Soldiers. All three are from different genres, but all of them have great plot development, are unique stories, and have relatable characters. I heard good things about their audiobooks, too.

The book I would NOT recommend is Tom Lake — although literary and about family connections, the main character just let life happen to her. My whole book club was disappointed by it, even though it was a Reese's Book Club pick, which are generally good reads.
