Love Island's Wes Nelson has already been confirmed to be among 2019's Dancing On Ice lineup, joined by Pussycat Dolls' Melody Thornton, Strictly Come Dancing's professional dancer James Jordan, EastEnders' Richard Blackwood, actress Didi Conn and many more.

And it's only a few weeks now until the show airs on our screens, set to be released in early January next year.

But Nelson's partner on the ice, Vanessa Bauer, has just raised concerns about their rehearsals.

Speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes on today's This Morning (December 12), Vanessa admitted that Wes has been missing training due to his busy schedule.

She told This Morning's hosts: "Rehearsals are going well… whenever we are on the ice training.

"He’s very ambitious and wants to go far but he’s so tight on his schedule, so in demand, and he’s on a ten day holiday in Mauritius right now.

"It worries me a little bit but he picks up everything so fast," added Vanessa.

She also told Schofield and Humes that the ex-Love Island contestant's return to the UK coincides with the dancing series' press day.

This means that the duo's schedule, up until the show hits our screens, will be fully packed.

Wes has previously commented: "I've been looking at the line-up thinking, 'Oh my gosh!' Of course you'll be seeing my hips on the ice and the hips don't lie!"

Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby have been already confirmed as next year's presenters.

Dancing on Ice will return to ITV early next year.
