West Dulwich crash: Man rushed to hospital after collision near school on A205 South Circular

A man has been rushed to hospital following a crash near a school in south London, according to reports.

Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to a crash on the south circular between Croxted Road and Clive Road, near Oakfield Preparatory School, at around 4pm on Wednesday.

A witness told the Standard: “I got off the train at West Dulwich Station around 5.40pm. There were loads of police cars and ambulances surrounding the area near Oakfield.

“My mum also went jogging and ran past the incident around 10 minutes after it happened.

“She said she saw a body underneath a sheet.”

A Met Police spokesperson told Southwark News: “One male has gone to hospital for treatment; we await confirmation on his condition but no fatalities.

“Happened at around 4pm; scene remains in place while we await confirmation of condition of person injured.”
