West Ham and Manchester United are to hold a minute’s silence ahead of their respective European matches on Thursday evening, following the passing of Her Majesty the Queen.West Ham are starting their Europa Conference League campaign against Romanian side FCSB at the London Stadium, while United are in Europa League action against Real Sociedad at Old Trafford, where flags will be flown at half-mast.Standard Sport understands there were discussions between West Ham, Uefa and the Football Association over postponing, but due to safety concerns it was decided the game would go ahead. Players from across both matches, and both sides, will wear black armbands.
