West Ham vs Liverpool preview: Premier League prediction, tickets, TV, live stream, H2H, team news, odds

Liverpool and West Ham finally meet in the Premier League this season as Jurgen Klopp and David Moyes seek three points for very different reasons in east London tonight.

Klopp's League leaders are almost guaranteed to be champions following a sensational run of 22 wins in 23 games, and the Reds will not want to let their unbeaten record any time soon.

As for West Ham, the mood is gloomy as the club are only sitting outside the relegation zone by virtue of goal difference. Fans are frustrated with the owners, and a defeat by four clear goals would see the Hammers slip into the drop zone - and things could quickly turn ugly.

Date: Wednesday, January 29th, 2020

Venue: London Stadium

Kick-off time: 7:45pm GMT

Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Liverpool

The Reds have not been at their best in their last two games, but developed a devastating self-belief in 2019. Even if Liverpool are below their best in east London, they should walk away with all three points.

Team news

West Ham are still saddled with plenty of injury problems.

Jack Wilshere (groin) requires surgery, while Andriy Yarmolenko (thigh), Felipe Anderson (chest) and Ryan Fredericks (thigh) are all out as well.

In better news for Moyes, Lukasz Fabianski could return from a thigh problem, with Robert Snodgrass and Arthur Masuaku (both knee) pushing for comebacks.

Sadio Mane is out of action with a thigh problem sustained at Wolves.

James Milner (thigh) remains sidelined with long-term absentee Nathaniel Clyne (knee).

Xherdan Shaqiri (calf) has an outside chance of being fit, but the odds are better for Adam Lallana after a virus.
