Declan Rice returns to the West Ham starting lineup as he makes his 150th Premier League appearance against Crystal Palace on New Year’s Day.

The England midfielder missed the midweek win over Watford through suspension after picking up five yellow cards, though returns to the lineup today in the only change from David Moyes.

Rice takes the place of veteran Mark Noble, who drops to the bench.

Pablo Fornals is still missing as he continues isolating following a positive Covid-19 test, while West Ham remain without the defensive trio of Kurt Zouma, Angelo Ogbonna and Aaron Cresswell.

Said Benrahma also starts for the final time before joining up with Algeria for the Africa Cup of Nations.

West Ham XI: Fabianski, Coufal, Dawson, Diop, Johnson, Rice, Soucek, Bowen, Lanzini, Benrahma, Antonio

Subs: Yarmolenko, Vlasic, Areola, Noble, Fredericks, Masuaku, Kral, Okoflex, Alese

Date: Saturday, January 1, 5.30pm GMT

Venue: Selhurst Park

TV: Sky Sports

Referee: Michael Oliver

Injured: Ogbonna (knee), Zouma (hamstring), Cresswell (back), Fornals (Covid)
