Soak up the ambience at Lucques
A stalwart of the WeHo dining scene, Lucques opened in 1998 and has been hailed as one of the district’s best restaurants ever since. James Beard award winning Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styn are the masterminds behind the menu and ambience. Originally the rustic carriage house of the Harold Lloyd Estate, Lucques’ decor of brick, wood beams, garden setting and wood-burning fireplace makes for a warm and charming space. From the grilled harissa chicken to black cod and diver scallops, dishes are carefully curated and beautifully presented.
Hike the Hollywood Hills
No visit to LA is complete without a hike. It is worth venturing slightly out of WeHo for the Bikes and Hikes Hollywood Hills Hike. Bag a booth at The Roger Room
This is a grittier take on the usually polished West Hollywood bar scene and that is just why we love it. Dark, moody and saloon-like, you can prop up the bar or find an intimate booth. Do brunch at Tesse
A great spot for brunch or dinner, Tesse is a chic addition to Sunset Boulevard. French cuisine is headed up by chef Raphael Francois and pastry connoisseur Sally Camacho Mueller. Salmon ceviche or the lobster roll are excellent brunch options. Dinner treats include the Frenchy truffle pizza or caviar toast.

Balance out the food and indulgence with the latest LA wellness trend in the form of Shape House. The urban sweat lodge counts the Kardashians amongst fans. The concept is to sweat out your bad toxins with FAR infrared therapy by lying snugly in heated beds, sipping alkaline water and catching up on TV. The claim is that it helps with deeper sleep, stress relief, a faster metabolism and more youthful looking skin. One thing is for sure…it is an experience.
