A crack dealer who armed himself with a terrifying zombie knife is behind bars after he was caught in a police foot chase. Yassin Okako was jailed for three years and two months at Isleworth Crown Court on Monday (November 25) for possession with intent to supply Class A, namely crack cocaine and heroin, and for possession of an offensive weapon.

Patrolling officers from a local policing team in Hounslow spotted a male who they suspected was dealing drugs on Inverness Road on October 3 2024. It was Okako, and he was detained and found with 61 wraps of crack and heroin after a short foot chase. During a search of his car and his address, police also seized cash and a large zombie knife with serrations on one side of the blade.

He pleaded guilty to all charges at his first hearing and was sentenced this week. The total sentence was reduced from five years for an early guilty plea.

Elsewhere police in Hounslow also caught dealers Omar Saney and Sijan Malla-Thakuri who received a combined sentence of six years six months at Isleworth Crown Court for supplying crack and heroin.

Officers on Rosemary Avenue in Hounslow witnessed the pair attempting to exchange a package, but Saney tried to discard it when he was caught. Inside were around 50 wraps of Class As. Malla-Thakuri was also found with drugs, cash, and a steak knife in his sleeve. Both pleaded not guilty but were convicted. Saney got four years, while Malla-Thakuri got two years and six months.
