A West Lothian girl is set to make her ‘final journey’ to her resting place.

Hope was found dead at just six-years-old, along with her father Mark Gordon. They were discovered on West Calder’s Harburn Road on Monday, January 20.

Thanking locals for their ‘love and kindness’, the family of Hope have issued a statement on her cortege which will leave Co-op Funeralcare in Livingston at 12.45pm on Monday, February 10. They’ve asked those that are able to ‘line the streets’.

Co-op Funeralcare said: “Hope will leave Co-op Funeralcare, Livingston at approximately 12.45pm on Monday, 10th February making her way to her final resting place.

“Hope’s family would like to show their appreciation to the community for all their love, support and kindness since their tragic loss and ask those that are able to line the streets leading to Adambrae Cemetery as Hope passes by in her horse drawn carriage.

“The cortege will leave the funeral home, turn left and continue up through Dedridge. With all our love, Hope’s family.”

Police have confirmed they are treating Hope’s death as murder while there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of Mark.
