West Lothian resident perplexed by mysterious floating glitter bubbles
A West Lothian woman has reported seeing strange bubbles which popped with glitter landing across her community.
Christine Wright, from Dedridge, filmed 'hundreds' of strange bright white bubbles floating around Heatherfield Glade on the morning of Saturday September 21.
The puzzled resident shared her footage with Edinburgh Live in the hope she may be able to find out the origin of the odd objects.

"I posted on the facebook page really to let the people who had released them know that the objects were travelling about and making people smile," Christine said. "It could have been a party at the creche that's close by.
"I was just standing at my back door looking at the rain and feeling as miserable as the weather when I saw a bubble floating over my fence. I thought it was my neighbour's children blowing bubbles but they didn't just float down, they started going backwards and up and down and all around.

"When one landed it exploded into glittery powder that was just so magical. Then I started seeing more and more and I looked through the roofs of my neighbour's houses where hundreds of them all floated in their own little directions, bursting into sparkles.
"It really cheered me up on this rainy Saturday. I just sat on my step and enjoyed it."
In the footage of the bubbles, you can see the dense objects floating erratically before falling to the ground and bursting with a puff of glitter.
