West Lothian venue reopens after burning down in 'devastating' blaze
A West Lothian golf clubhouse has reopened, years after a devastating fire tore through the building.
Uphall Golf Club was ravaged by a blaze in February of 2021, with 10 appliances sent to the scene.
Now, the new clubhouse has opened to the public.
Bosses said years of "planning and building" has gone into the new venue. Locals welcomed the opening, wishing the club luck on their new adventure.

Taking to Instagram, Food Creations Catering said: "Welcome to your new clubhouse. Years of planning and building in the making and we’re finally ready to open the doors of the new Uphall Golf Club. Opening to the public on Monday the September 9!"
Colin Dow commented: "Good luck on your new adventure!"

The club was a "shell of a building" following a blaze in 2021. At around 1.35am on February 6, fire crews raced to the scene.
Chiefs sent 10 appliances as flames ripped through the building, with smoke billowing across the golf course. Club bosses said at the time that they were 'saddened' by the serious fire.
In a post on Facebook they said: "We are saddened to advise that there has been a very serious fire at the Golf Club overnight.
"Emergency services have been in attendance and as we write this, the main road is closed at Dechmont and Miller’s Bridge. We are not aware of any injuries."

A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 1.35am on Saturday February 6 to reports of a building fire in Uphall, West Lothian.
"Operations control mobilised 10 fire appliances to the scene at Uphall Golf Club, where firefighters were met by a well-developed fire.
"Crews currently remain on the scene working to extinguish the fire. There are no reported casualties."
