Westminster falls silent for victims of London terror attack

A minute's silence has been held at New Scotland Yard and in the House of Commons in memory of  the victims of the Westminster terror attack.

The silence was held at 9.33am, because 48-year-old Pc Keith Palmer - who was killed in the attack -  had the shoulder number 933.

At New Scotland Yard, prayers of thanksgiving were offered for the memory of Pc Palmer.

Speaker John Bercow said: "Colleagues, in respectful memory of those who lost their lives in yesterday's attack and of all of the casualties, we shall now observe a minute's silence."
