Westworld season 2 to air 'epic' feature-length finale: 'It will just keep going and going'

Westworld season 2 is yet to begin and its creators are already hyping up the final episode.

Showrunners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy have hinted that, while several episodes will be longer than the standard 60 minutes, the finale will exceed the length of last season's which clocked in at a whopping 90 minutes.

“The second season the premiere is a little over 70 minutes,” Nolan told Entertainment Weekly. “The fourth episode - which is one of my favourites - is a little longer than an hour. And the finale is just going to keep going and going.

He added: “It's a bit of an epic.”

Westworld returns to HBO and Sky Atlantic after the first season ended 16 months ago. Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright and Ed Harris all return alongside Jimmi Simpson, Tessa Thompson and Rodrigo Santoro.
