Westworld actress Evan Rachel Wood is engaged to her bandmate and partner Zach Villa.

The pair were spotted at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday (January 29) wearing silver rings on their left ring fingers.

According to People, Evan introduced Zach as her "fiancé" to Mr Robot actor Rami Malek later in the night, and Zach's rep has since confirmed the news.

Evan and Zach, who met in 2015, founded electro-pop band Rebel and a Basketcase. The duo released their first album in September 2016.

She is currently playing the self-aware robot Dolores in the science fiction drama Westworld, for which she won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series.

Evan, who was previously married to actor Jamie Bell, revealed that she has battled with her sexual identity for most of her life, saying: "I am divorced with a son and no matter who I am with I am #stillbisexual.

"I can assure you that whatever 'straight privilege' I sometimes get accused of having gets erased by biphobia.

"Remember, bisexuality doesn't mean halfway between gay or straight. It is its own identity. I think in some cases people don't want to be labelled because they are ashamed to be bisexual. And this needs to stop."

She added: "I have battled with myself most of my life because I wasn't gay or straight enough. I used to think I would never be happy.

"I had to go through the same panic and shame and depression a lot of people in the LGBT community go through - but when I came out a new-found shame took over. Bi-shame. Feeling like people are judging you all over again, but for different reasons.

"A weight was lifted but not completely. I still feel like we have to constantly prove ourselves and our worthiness within the community."

Wood publicly came out as bisexual in 2011 and said at the time that she felt it was only right to do so, in order to help others who might be in a similar position.
