Frederick Forsyth's 1971 classic thriller novel gets a new adaptation in this highly anticipated 10-part series starring Eddie Redmayne, Lashana Lynch and Charles Dance.
The cat-and-mouse chase follows lone assassin The Jackal, who has been unrivalled as a hitman for hire for years, but appears to have finally met his match in a tenacious British intelligence officer.

Sky Atlantic's adaptation promises a fresh twist to the tale as the edge-of-your-seat thriller plays out across Europe with Bianca (Lynch) closing in on The Jackal (Redmayne).
Dune: Prophecy | 18 November
Expanding the Dune universe even further, fans get a treat this month with Sky's prequel series set 10,000 years before the ascension of Paul Atreides and inspired by Brian Herbert and Kevin J Anderson's book Sisterhood of Dune.
Frank Herbert's Dune novels were adapted for the original 2021 film and in this earlier tale starring Emily Watson, Olivia Williams and Mark Strong, we meet two Harkonnen sisters as they combat forces that threaten the future of humankind, and establish the fabled sect that will become known as the Bene Gesserit.
Dune: Part Two, with an all-star cast including Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Berdem, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken and Stellan Skarsgård, also comes to Sky Cinema this month.
America Votes: US Presidential Election | 5 and 6 November
After months of campaigning, the US presidential election takes place on 5 November with implications for the rest of the world as we find out whether Kamala Harris or Donald Trump will be moving into the White House.

This timely drama reimagines one of the most famous plots in British history, retelling the story you think you know for Bonfire Night.
Picking up the tale in the aftermath of the Gunpowder Plot, it follows the three leaders Robert Catesby, Thomas Wintour and Thomas Percy as they race from London to the Midlands in the hope of drumming up a Catholic rebellion to overthrow King James and place his young daughter Princess Elizabeth on the throne.

Academy Award winner Kathy Bates stars as Madeline “Matty” Matlock in this legal drama about a savvy septuagenarian who decides to have another crack at career success by rejoining the workforce.
Matty is assigned to talented attorney Olympia and draws the attention of Olympia's ex-husband - the son of the firm's boss - as she starts to rack up case wins with her wily tactics and unexpected skill at wheedling out the truth.
