Giant Dust Storm Hits Central California, Leaving Thousands Without Power

A giant dust storm rolled through Tulare, California, on Monday, November 11, shocking a resident with its size.

Video recorded by Philip Herrera shows wind gusts picking up as a wall of dust approaches.

“Eh, yeah. What is going on in the Valley? They say a big dust storm is happening. Crazy!,” Herrera says in the clip.

The National Weather Service issued a warning for blowing dust in nearby Fresno County and told drivers to watch for reduced visibility on the road.
