WhatsApp is addressing the needs of its users one feature at a time.

The Facebook-owned messenger has added the ability to search for GIF files right into the app. Users can now look up the animation files and quickly send them to their friends.

WhatsApp has also upped the media sharing limit from 10 to 30. Prior to this users could only select up to 10 image files at once when sharing with a friend.

Both the features are available on WhatsApp beta v2.17.6 for Android. Users on the stable version probably won't have to wait for long as the feature recently went live on WhatsApp for iPhone as well.

Late last year, WhatsApp partnered with Giphy, a popular online search engine and database for GIF files, to introduce GIF support to the app.

Not long ago, people used to complain about WhatsApp being slow at getting new features. But the service, used by over 1 billion people every month, picked up pace last year.
