Police are appealing for information after a wheelchair-bound knifeman charged at people waiting for a bus in west London.

Footage of the shocking October 18 incident, which took place in Hayes town centre, was uploaded to social media.

Police were not called at the time but launched an investigation after seeing the video. No injuries were reported.

Detective Inspector John Millward, from the Roads and Transport Policing Command, said: “We are working to establish the specific circumstances of this incident, including the time and location of the offence.

“From videos we have seen on social media there appears to have been a large group of people in the area who witnessed the incident and I would like to hear from them immediately.”
