'Like two kids whose moms made them apologise!' Internet reacts to Trump and Obama's meeting
It was a meeting that most never thought would happen.
President Obama invited President-elect Donald Trump to the White House on Thursday to prepare for the transition to power when the new man takes power for real in January.
The two men are hardly known as being the best of friends but said their 90-minute conversation went well.
“My number-one priority in the coming two months is to try to facilitate a transition that ensures our president-elect is successful,” said Obama.
Fort his part, Trump called Obama “a very good man”, despite spending the last few years questioning where the President was born, and tweeted that he had a great time

But the internet had a different view.
Despite the chummy behaviour, Twitter users were unconvinced that the pair really liked each other.
Some compared the pair to naughty schoolchildren.

Others were unconvinced though that the pair could have really held a 90-minute conversation, at least without large silent gaps.

Some even claimed the president disliked Trump so much that the first thing he would have done after the meeting was rush straight to the bathroom.

Though others claimed their dislike of each other was exaggerated and they would at least have something to talk about to fill the awkward gaps – Hillary Clinton.

Others though were concentrating on Trump and wondering if he had just realised that he might have just realised how tough his job will be for the next four years.

Some made more serious points and looked at the pair’s body language

Other Twitter users though were just happy to share the joy of White House staff, no doubt pondering their future, at watching the meeting between the two men unfold.

But some people focused on the real meeting that was taking place at the same time – the one between Michelle Obama and Melania Trump, famous for copying one of the First Lady’s speeches during the presidential campiagn
