Summer is here and that means the school holidays are on the way too. It is hard at the best of times to find a way to keep little ones entertained, but with the cost of living rising and disposable income not stretching as far as it once did, that task has become even more daunting.

Here Nottinghamshire Live want to help where we can, but we could also do with a little assistance from you. We want to know the best place in Nottinghamshire to take your kids on a day out? And we figure who better to know than you, our readers.

From the picturesque countryside and historical landmarks to vibrant city attractions and hidden gems, Nottinghamshire boasts a wealth of options for families. Whether it's an adventurous outdoor activity, a visit to a fascinating museum, or a fun-filled park, we want to hear about your go-to spots.

We know there is a lot we have to boast here, from Sherwood Forest to Wollaton Hall, but it’s the hidden gems and outside of the box ideas we want as well. Your input will not only highlight the best attractions but also help other families discover new and exciting places to visit.

So just head to our poll below. By taking a few minutes to fill out our survey we can publicise a go-to family guide to our county. Submissions will be closed at noon on Monday, July 15.

So, grab a cup of tea, think back to your most enjoyable family outings, and let us know where you love to spend your days in Nottinghamshire. If the poll does not load, please follow this link.
