Where are the cast of Hook now?

Children of the '90s all seem to recall Steven Spielberg's 1991 Peter Pan sequel Hook as a guiding light of cinema, despite the critical pasting it received. And who's to say who's right?

It had a cast of A-listers including Julia Roberts, Dustin Hoffman, Maggie Smith and the late Robin Williams and Bob Hoskins. But it also starred a cast of young Lost Boys and Peter's children, many of whom gathered for a 25-year reunion in 2016. Here's what those little scamps look like now.

Dante Basco – Rufio

Possibly the best remembered of the bunch for his role as Peter's stripy-haired Lost Boys rival, Basco can always be relied on to turn out when the merest wisp of an interest is shown in Hook.

He had a recurring role in Nickelodeon's Moesha back in the '90s, and although his face isn't often seen on film or TV, he's had a successful career as a voice actor, with major roles in Avatar: The Last Airbender and its sequel The Legend of Korra.

We loved to hate Peter's treacherous son, but Hook pretty much marked the close of Charlie Korsmo's career in acting. He had appeared in Dick Tracy the year before, and since then has only shown up in 1998's teen comedy Can't Hardly Wait alongside Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Ethan Embry, Lauren Ambrose and Seth Green – where many child actor stories were presumably shared.

He ditched acting to earn a law degree from Yale and was most recently reported to be teaching at a Cleveland university. IMDB has it that he is coming out of retirement next year for a film called Chained for Life.

There must be something about playing the children of the boy who never grew up that put these kids off acting. Scott only has one more credit to her name – as a voice actor on an episode of the American Experience documentary series.

All we have to go on is her IMDB picture, which, strangely, can't have been uploaded that long ago...

Lisa Wilhoit – Young Tinker Bell

Playing a young Julia Roberts turned out to be moderately auspicious for young Lisa Wilhoit. She went on to play Claire Danes' younger sister Danielle in My So-Called Life, and has been voicing head cheerleader Connie D'Amico in Family Guy since 2000.

James Madio – Don't Ask

Dustin Hoffman apparently liked this particular Lost Boy so much that he brought him along to his next project, Stephen Frears comedy drama Hero. He starred in the series USA High, Band of Brothers and something called Queens Supreme.

More recently you may have spotted him in Bones, Castle or Kick-Ass.

Isaiah Robinson – Pockets

Isaiah Robinson only has one other acting credit to his name, the 2005 low-budget movie Dead at the Box Office. He went on to sing in the Chicago Children's Choir, which he still performs with.

Thomas Tulak – Too Small

Tulak went on to make appearances in Cheers and Mad About You. He now works as an indie filmmaker through his Easily Amused Group Productions.

Raushan Hammond – Thud Butt

Hammond isn't shying away from his Hook past – @thudbutt is his Twitter handle. He had roles in four reasonably recognisable '90s shows Family Matters, ER, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, Tales from the Crypt and nothing else. He wrote, directed and starred in 24 Hours in Las Vegas in 2011, and nowadays he stars in his own music and magic show.

Ryan Francis – Young Peter Pan

The star who portrayed the younger Peter remains a jobbing actor to this day. He had a significant role in the early '90s sitcom Sisters (which also gave early supporting roles to George Clooney, Ashley Judd and Paul Rudd). He showed up in episodes of Sabrina the Teenage Witch and as a nameless soldier in Buffy the Vampire Slayer season two.

That's about as high-profile as things have got. He'll next be seen with Twin Peaks' Dana Ashbrook in Alzheimer's drama Ice Cream in the Cupboard and as a cannibal in post-apocalyptic horror Unto Us All, which he is also directing.

Bryan and Brett Willis – Sooner and Later

Sorry Bryan and Brett, but this was your only acting credit each, so you don't get separate entries.

We've searched high and low, but can't find a sign of this young lady anywhere. If you see her, please let us know.
