Which royal gatecrashed a karaoke party with Ellie Goulding?
Ellie Goulding has confessed she gatecrashed a karaoke party in New York with a member of the royal family.
The Burn singer admitted to BBC Radio 1’s Greg James she had been bored in the Big Apple after having a few drinks, when she stumbled across a work Christmas party and decided it would be fun to join in the karaoke.

Goulding added: “People will know who the other person is as well. But no, I cant say. People definitely would have recognised the other person as well. It’s one of those people you cant talk about.”
When James asked if the person was royal, Goulding laughed: “Maybe, let’s move on... I didn’t say anything about them being drunk, just me.”
The Love Me Like You Do singer is known to be a close friend of Princess Eugenie.
Goulding was asked about claims that emerged on social media last year that she had gatecrashed a karaoke party and left guests stunned when she showed off her singing talents performing Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody. The partygoer had called Radio 1 at the time saying, “Two girls walked in and they were like, ‘Can we sing a song?’”
When they posted a clip of her on Instagram she had been identified as Goulding.

The singer said: “It was me. They did say no - they were furious that we came down and crashed the party. To be fair nothing was happening, it was a bit soulless, no offence. We’d had a few drinks so we just went and I sang Whitney Houston and just went for it.
“At least we made it more fun.”
Goulding has a string of royal connections. She sang at Prince William’s wedding to Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and is also rumoured to have dated Prince Harry.
It was recently reported that she has invited Princess Beatrice’s mother Fergie to her hen party.
Goulding, 32, announced her engagement to Caspar Jopling last August.
