Donald Trump may be happy to be President but he might not be so happy with his new home at the White House.

Despite the Presidential abode boasting 132 rooms, a bowling alley, swimming pool and tennis court, Trump reportedly described it as a “dump”.

According to Sports Illustrated, the President was telling guests at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, why he likes to spend so much time there.

He is quoted as saying: “That White House is a real dump.”

The White House has denied that Trump made the comment.

Since taking office, Trump has spent over 20% of his time at his own golf clubs – over 43 visits in fact.

This is despite criticising Barack Obama several times during his presidential campaign for playing golf instead of being President.

The White House is spread across 55,000 square feet and is valued at around £303 million.

Staff inside are not just limited to officials – Trump is also waited on by an army of butlers, valets and chefs.
