Alesha Dixon has revealed that she tried to cheer up her fellow Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams after The Nightly Show sort of flopped a bit.
In an interview with The Mirror, Alesha was asked if she watched David – who was guest host on the first week of the new show – to which she replied: "I did see it, bless him.
"Amanda and I sent flowers wishing him luck, and I sent him a really positive message afterwards because I felt so sorry for him," she added.
"The wolves came out for him," Alesha explained. "It's tough with a new show. Remember when Good Morning Britain first came on and they were crucified?
"Now people love it. He's thick-skinned and riding the storm. I wouldn't do that show, though, it isn't right for me."
Speaking to BBC Breakfast about it, he explained: "I guess because the ITV News was moved, I think then people felt – they were sort of comparing it to the news, rather than comparing it to other entertainment shows."
Still, Digital Spy reckons there's a few fundamental changes the show can make to take on its US equivalents, such as James Corden's Late Late Show and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Britain's Got Talent returns to ITV this Saturday, April 15 at 8pm.
