Why Harvey Barnes took to Youtube after wonder goal and Newcastle eye top spot in Premier League
Harvey Barnes took to YouTube after scoring a goal that will be talked about for years at Molineux.
The wonder strike, which curled viciously past England international Sam Johnstone, had big similarities to David Ginola's iconic goal at Hillsborough back in 1995 and not just because of its quality or stunning technique. Indeed, decked out in maroon and blue stripes, here Barnes looked every inch a true Entertainer in the 2-1 win!
Yet his day had started with "disappointment" in the words of his manager Eddie Howe after the £39million man discovered he would only be on the bench to begin with in the Black Country. Howe though feels he has the squad at his disposal to make tough decisions but Barnes responded in style against Wolves.

Speaking after the game Barnes was asked if he knew much about Ginola's strike but then revealed he wasn't even born when the 2-0 win took place! As Barnes scrolled through his phone on the bus home much has changed since the days of the Entertainers.
Newcastle players sipped recovery drinks on the team bus after emulating the class of 1995 in the maroon and blue kits and unlike Kevin Keegan's team there was no stop-off for fish and chips and the Wetherby Whaler! Like Keegan's team they have quickly reached double figures in terms of points with just four games on the board too.
Speaking about his wonder goal, Barnes, born in 1997, said: "I caught it well! When the team is behind you have to take it on yourself to make a difference and I caught it lovely."
But he knows that this team have a long way to go before they can be genuinely be compared to Keegan's side. Barnes said: "You could see we needed to improve on the first half and it was a big ask in the second half. We haven't hit the heights of last season but we are finding ways to win at the moment and that's important."
Howe was also in the mood for a bit of nostalgia when it came to the new Adidas kits! The head coach has been known to bring in some of the Entertainers to talk to the current squad at the training ground and knows that comparisons with greats can sometimes be healthy.
Speaking on the kit he said: "I was hoping that the kit would be lucky for us! I genuinely was hoping that when we were wearing it some of the history would rub off. I was delighted it was a great start in that kit so hopefully there are many more to come."
Unlike Keegan's side in 1995, Newcastle have not been able to win their first four matches with three wins and a draw so far. However, they can trump the Entertainers by avoiding defeat in game five.
Back in 1995, Newcastle lost 1-0 at their bogey ground the Dell after going down to a Jim Magilton strike for Southampton. The Magpies could even go top on Saturday night if they beat Fulham with Man City and Arsenal facing off next Sunday. For all the talk of turmoil off the field, exciting times could lie ahead for the Magpies.
