Loose Women star Jane Moore has entered the I'm A Celeb jungle this weekend - but could love be on the card for this recent divorcee?

The 62-year-old announced her divorce to husband Gary Farrow after 20 years of marriage in December 2022.

The couple tied the knot in a glamorous wedding in 2002, with Elton John as the best man and guests including the late Barbara Windsor and Frank Skinner. They are also parents to three children—Jane’s daughters Ellie and Grace from a previous relationship, and Gary’s daughter Lauren.

Jane revealed the news on Loose Women, stating: "So Gary and I are separating. But it's weird that it's out there because we've been processing it for about a year. We're both quite private people. We had discussed it last year, and it was going to happen last year."

However, the couple had to delay their separation after Gary broke his leg and required care and time to recover, reports the Mirror.

Jane joked: "Then he [Gary] fell - I didn't push him, just want to put that out there." So, with Gary's injury to contend with "all bets were off".

Jane shared that the breakup was 'amicable' and that they remain 'best friends', adding: "It is weird because I've been sort of caring for him. That's enabled us to segue into processing it, first of all, and segue into a really nice friendship. I would always say he is my best friend. And I hope if he was sitting here he would say I am his best friend. And I'm just very, very keen that we don't lose that element of it."

The ex-couple had planned to sell their family home and buy separate properties with the proceeds, aiming to live near each other as they start their ‘next chapter’. However, two years after their split, they are still living together in the family home after the sale fell through.

Updating fans on her progress, Jane shared the nightmare her family is facing as they find themselves back at square one in the sale process. She said: "It was under offer earlier this year and the survey was fine, but then the house sale of the people buying it fell through, and the chain collapsed. I said I would wait for them to get another offer, but they decided it was too stressful and opted to stay put."

This means Jane has had to re-list the property while also managing "a hefty legal bill." She told Platinum Magazine: "Worse, as the sale fell through on the week of exchange, I had already started to clear out all the cupboards and the house looked an absolute tip. It was another fortnight before I could re-list it."

For now, Jane and Gary have chosen to make some updates to the property based on feedback from viewings, hoping it will help sell the house faster so they can move on to the next chapter of their lives. In September, she asked fans to "wish me luck."

Given everything going on, it's no surprise Jane has focused on other priorities instead of her love life.

However, in a recent interview with Woman's Own magazine, Jane shared: "I've only just got divorced, and I'm very much of the mind that you don't have to be dating somebody to have a nice life."
