Good Morning Britain viewers were mildly shocked/hugely relieved today (October 18) as Piers Morgan was mysteriously absent from the show.
The endlessly divisive host usually presents the show Mondays to Wednesdays but nope, not today.
Instead, we had daytime TV veteran and professional Alan Partridge impersonator Richard Madeley hosting the show alongside Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins:
Relax though, ITV bosses haven't given Piers the door, as Susanna pointed out.
"Piers is off for a few days – not because I want him out – and Richard Madeley is here," she said.
"I do want him out!" Richard joked.
Piers himself later took to Twitter to clear up all the confusion by revealing he's swapping the orange skies of London for Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. At least for a while.
We've no idea when Piers will be back on our screens, but judging by all that sun, neither he nor Richard want it to be anytime soon:

Viewers in Piers' replies questioned whether his absence was due to him avoiding Spurs fans (after their draw against Real Madrid in the Champions League), while others said that Susanna got a chance to shine as an interviewer due to Piers not being there.
Susanna recently opened up about how she puts up with having to get up early in the mornings and work with Piers, and it turns out... she genuinely gets along with him.
