Wigan Warriors head coach Matt Peet viewed Grand Final opponents Hull Kingston Rovers as playing "within themselves" in the semi-final - but is expecting it to be "full-on" for his men at the showpiece match at Old Trafford on Saturday evening.

Wigan produced a dominant 38-0 win in their semi-final against Leigh Leopards and their coach and players spoke to Sky Sports after that game, being asked about Hull KR. Rovers had a very different challenge the previous night, winning a tense semi-final by a margin of 10-8 against Warrington Wolves.

Asked about Hull KR, Peet said: "They are a quality team. I thought they were a bit within themselves last night. They were without Elliot Minchella. But what they showed last night is that they found a way to win. And that is crucial at this time of year. Tonight we didn't get tested to that level, we didn't get taken to that place.

"We know Hull KR have got so much flair. Willie Peters has made them a really good set for set team as well so it's going to be full-on next week. Whoever plays best on the night will win. There's some fantastic contests. And the one in the crowd is going to be great as well with the two sets of fans. It's got all the makings of a great celebration of Super League."

Wigan loose forward Kaide Ellis said: "It doesn't get any easier next week. I think both teams are evenly matched and play the same style of rugby. It's going to be a cracker. In the last two years, we've had a lot of big-game clashes - they knocked them us out of the Cup, we've knocked them out. It's perfect that we both get to settle it now in a final, it's perfect."

Reflecting on the Hull KR against Warrington semi-final, Wigan winger Abbas Miski said: "It was a very good game, very entertaining, two tough teams, it's going to take a lot. It's going to take our very best performance. When we've played them, it's probably been our hardest game of the season. They have quality players and we've got our work cut out."

Wigan full back Jai Field said: "Hull KR have been one of the best sides all year, very consistent. Hopefully it makes for a good Grand Final."
