Wild Winds Whip Across Gamay Town as Typhoon Kammuri Hits Philippines

Typhoon Kammuri made landfall in the Philippines’ Northern Samar province on Monday, December 2, bringing severe winds and rainfall to the region, as seen in this footage from a resident of Gamay, a small town on the province’s coast.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the storm carried maximum sustained winds of 155 km/h near the center, with gusts of up to 190 km/h.
