Wildfire Burning Near San Diego Prompts Evacuation Warnings

Firefighters issued evacuation warnings near the community of Pala Mesa north of San Diego on June 23 after a wildfire broke out and burned at least 350 acres.

The warnings were lifted later in the day after the fire’s rate of spread slowed.
