Wildfire Destroys At Least 20 Homes in Laguna Beach, California

Firefighters estimated at least 20 homes had been destroyed by a wildfire that broke out in the afternoon of May 11 at Laguna Beach, California.

The vegetation fire was first reported at around 2:44 pm, fire authorities said at a press conference. The blaze was 150 acres in size, Orange County Fire Authority said in a Twitter post at around 6 pm local time.

Evacuation orders were made for some residential areas at Laguna Niguel.
