Wildfire Scorches Gran Canaria Island

A wildfire has scorched roughly 1,000 hectares of land in Spain’s vacation island of Gran Canaria as of Thursday, September 21. More than 400 people have been forced out of their homes, according to reports, and the wildfire may continue to grow.
