Wildfire Threatens San Gorgonio Pass Community

A small wildfire in Cherry Valley, California, in Riverside County forced evacuations on Tuesday, August 30, and by Wednesday, some of those evacuation orders had been lifted, although the fire had increased to 1,250 acres. Fire officials were looking for witnesses to “juvenile activity” near the entrance gate to Bogart Park shorty before the fire started, saying they believed the blaze was “human caused.”
