Wildlife Officers Add Thousands of Cutbow Trout to Colorado Reservoir

Thousands of 10-inch cutbow trout were added to the Eleven Mile Reservoir in Colorado on Thursday, February 27.

Footage released by Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) shows officers from the Mt Shavano Trout Rearing Unit stocking and releasing fish into the reservoir.

The CPW said officers were due to place an additional 7,000 trout in the lake on February 28. Over 100,000 trout are added to the Eleven Mile Reservoir each year. “All of are stocked through the ice,” the CPW said. Credit: Colorado Parks and Wildlife via Storyful
