Willesden stabbing: Man, 24, fighting for life after being repeatedly knifed in north-west London

A young man is fighting for life in hospital after he was repeatedly stabbed in broad daylight in north-west London.

The 24-year-old was rushed to hospital by paramedics after he was knifed in Willesden shortly after 1.30pm on Tuesday.

He remains there in a critical condition.

Photos posted online show an air ambulance landing near the scene in Cornwall Gardens.

Scotland Yard said there have been no arrests.

A spokesman told the Standard: “Police were called by LAS at 1.44pm on Tuesday to Cornwall Gardens following reports of a stabbing.

“Officers attended. A male was found suffering from multiple stab injuries.

“The victim was treated at the scene by London's Air Ambulance before being taken to a west London hospital. He remains there in a critical condition.

“Road closures and a crime scene are in place.

“No arrests at this early stage.”

A section 60 order, which allows police to stop and search people, has been put in place for the surrounding until 5am on Wednesday.
